Hello, I am Theresa Viland, Massage Therapist/Bodyworker specializing in therapeutic and rehabilitative massage for acute and chronic muscular and fascial tension/dysfunction. Here you'll find a detailed description of my work. Please navigate the menu for scheduling, business hours, and location.

My credentials include an Associate of Applied Science in Massage Therapy degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University (Bloomington, MN) in 2012, and much continuing education listed below. Professional experience includes working with chiropractors, in spa and fitness settings, and at sporting events. I opened my own business in 2017, and enjoy working with a wide variety of people and conditions including athletes, office workers, people undergoing gender transition, pregnancy, chronic pain, autoimmune and neurological issues.

My techniques are generally focused and intentional. I listen to your symptoms and goals, and plan each individual session around this, whether that be honing in on an issue, or full body relaxation, or a mixture of goals. Your comfort level during your session is most important. I can use firm pressure if needed, but I also use very gentle and effective techniques to address deep tissues. I will adjust pressure and technique according to what I'm feeling in your tissues, but more importantly to your comfort level.

I will look out for your best interests, which may include referring you to another healthcare practitioner or therapist if necessary.

*Please inform me if you are sensitive to scents and I will make sure the room is as scent-free as possible before your session.
