I am Theresa Viland, Massage Therapist/Bodyworker specializing in therapeutic and medical massage for those with acute and chronic muscular and fascial tension/dysfunction. I have enjoyed my training in this field, and still love to learn and grow as a therapist and business owner.

I have an Associate of Applied Science - Massage Therapy degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2012, and have furthered my skills through much continuing education. My professional experience includes working with chiropractors, in spa and fitness settings, and at sporting events. I enjoy working with a wide variety of people and conditions including athletes, office workers, pregnant women, people undergoing gender transition, surgery rehabilitation and scars, chronic pain, autoimmune and neurological disorders.

I describe my technique as focused and intentional. I listen to my clients symptoms and goals, and plan each individual session around this, whether that be honing in on an issue, or full body relaxation, or a mixture of the two.

Your comfort level during your session is important. I am known for the ability to do "deep tissue" work, however, deep tissues can also be addressed using gentle pressure techniques. I will adjust my pressure and technique according to what I'm feeling in your tissues, but more importantly to your comfort level, so I encourage any feedback.

I will look out for your best interests, which may include referring you to another healthcare practitioner or massage therapist if I feel that would be beneficial to you.

*Please inform me if you are sensitive to scents and I will make sure the room is as scent-free as possible before your session.
